How to Get Ready for School in 10 Minutes

Are you constantly late for school? Do you find yourself dashing out the door in the morning without breakfast or a homework assignment? Well stick around, we are going to show you how to prepare for school in 10 minutes and still have a little free time.

READY. SET. GO!

1. Prepare the night before. Make sure you have most of your stuff laid out, so that you are not searching for clothes or homework.

-The night before, set out the clothes you would like to wear.

-Take a shower now, not in the morning; before school.

-If you like to take your lunch, pack it the night before.

-Go through your bag and make sure you have everthing packed.

2. Get up at least one hour early if you want a little free time. The more you stick to your schedule, the easier it gets. As soon as you hear the alarm, take 10 deep breaths and GET UP!

3. Take about 5 minutes to brush your teeth, wash your face and anything else you need to do before a good breakfast.

4. Sit down for a quick and healthy breakfast. Don't rush, but take about 5 minutes to power up for the day.

5. Double-check that you have everything you need before leaving the house. Don't forget to include a snack or two to munch on in between classes. You are all set for a day of learning.

ONE FINAL NOTE: We know that you are a growing teen and this schedule may not sound too reasonable at first. But if you stick to the schedule, eat a healthly breakfast and lunch, you will find that you are more energized and can get up early enough to take your time and not rush. GO AHEAD, TRY IT!
