GROOVESHINE - Reggae Funk / Hip Hop
GrooveShine is a band from Santa Barbara, CA that blends funk, reggae and hip hop rhythms with singer-songwriter acoustic grooves.
Formed in 2012 by producer Mike Mchugh, GrooveShine is a combination of musical energies, influences and ideas. As a prolific songwriter, beatmaker and DJ, Mchugh merged favorite genres to create a unique sound and style of musical production. GrooveShine music melds the energy of acoustic rock with hip hop production techniques and dance-friendly beats.
Featured artists bring unique melodies including AJAO from Nigeria and Mr Beenie from Jamaica. New album due for release in August 2015.
