Innovative New Talent Reaching Out AKA " INTRO" was formed in New York City in the early 90's, by R&B singer- songwriters Clinton " Buddy" Wike, Jeff Sanders, and the late Kenny "G-Love" Greene.

In 1993, INTRO released their debut self-titled album “INTRO” on Atlantic Records, charting nine on the R&B charts. INTRO's music offered a strong urban contemporary R&B sound that featured a polished, yet hip hop vibe. Working along with the Untouchable Producers D.J Eddie F of Heavy D and the boys fame, Dave Jam Hall Who had nailed hits for Mary J. Blige with the help of Intro "Love no Limit, Reminisce and my Love are the songs contributed to Mary’s album. The debut INTRO album scored several successful tracks like 'Love Thang,' 'Let Me Be The One, 'Come Inside, and the remake of Stevie Wonder's classic 'Ribbon in the Sky'. Mr. Wonder honored INTRO by appearing in the group's Ribbon in the Sky video and having INTRO perform on his 1994 tribute to Curtis Mayfield. The group's debut album has sold over a million copies and continues to have consistent sales to date.

INTRO released their second album, in 1995 titled " New Life", which was meant to reflect upon a new era for the group. The album produced successful radio singles such as:"Funny how time flies"( remade by 50 Cent ), and "Feels like the first time." The group performed funny how time flies live with 50 cent, which introduced their music to a new fan base.

INTRO has serenaded countless fans on tours, performing in every major City in the United States as well as spanning the globe. INTRO was the first American R&B group to perform in Russia. They performed in front an audience of over 200,000 in St. Petersburg Square, located in St Petersburg Russia. Germany, Holland and London have also welcomed Intro to their stages and concert halls.

Intro Performed at the American Music Awards and was showcased on Soul Train, BET, Showtime at the Apollo and appeared on 90's hit television show, New York Undercover.

After the untimely passing of group member Kenny G-Love Greene in October of 2001, the group respectfully took a hiatus. Now, due to the overwhelming demand by their fan base, the remaining members Jeff Sanders and Clinton" Buddy" Wike teamed up with the very talented new member, Eric Pruitt of Detroit Michigan.
