There is much to be respected from a gentleman that served his country via the United States Army. But there is even more respect, when all the sights and sounds that he witnessed during his military career are channeled into a positive rap vibe. Harvey “HarvHustle” Hendricks is such a person. Born in Garland, Texas he has slowly and methodically entered the Texas Rap/Hip Hop scene with his own agenda and plan.
Dubbed by many as HarvHustle because of his hustle and grind, he does not shy away from his namesake of Harvey Henricks as it is a symbol and reminder of his ambitions in life. Whether he is performing as Harvey H or HarvHustle; when he steps on the stage you will know he represents his unique brand of music that he so eloquently labels “futuristic rap.” Known for his club jammin’ rap style and new age sound, HarvHustle first performed at Ruta Maya in Austin, Texas in 2009. Now entering his sixth year on stage he continues to show off his talent and love of rap through live performances, music videos and music distribution.
“My image is real. I don’t just tell people that, I show them, through my music. My music is for everyone because of everything I’ve been through. I know people can relate. I’m ready for my story to be heard.”
