Blackwood Plant Hire is an approved supplier to some of the largest contracting companies within the UK . We are Network Rail Link Up approved suppliers and are able to supply PTS qualified operators for railway projects .

Blackwood Plant Hire is committed to achieving high standards in health and safety , environmental issues and quality . All our plant is hired under the Scottish Plant Owners Association conditions . The Blackwood Plant Hire fleet includes a range of LGP ( Low Ground Pressure ) Excavators from 8 ton to 14 ton . These specialist LGP machines come with a range of pads , increasing stability and providing the capability of traversing and operating on soft or boggy ground which may otherwise have been impassable . The LGP machinery treads lightly with minimal impact and damage to ground .
