mean that Davis lacks hobbies
or chill time: in addition to youth
mentoring, he’s also a Minister of
Music at Friendship Baptist Church
of The Colony, TX. His organ and
piano prowess can be witnessed
in YouTube videos (under ‘Kevin O.
Davis’) and he’s even performed with
jazz ensembles, as well as with R&B
legends like EW&F’s Philip Bailey. He
acknowledges that no one is immune
to an occasional setback and other
unforeseen circumstances in life,
but 55-year-old Davis firmly believes
that achieving in life is less about
timing than tenacity.  “Never  stop
dreaming,” Davis says, “and never
stop setting your goals. Write it down,
look at it often and think to yourself,
‘what do you want to accomplish?’
Otherwise, if you  aim at nothing,
you’ll hit the target every time.”
