I listened to this song every morning on my way to Hyde Park high school my freshman year of 1994-95. Growing up in Chicago, this song was real relevant to me, as it was as violent then as it is now. I was losing friends to gun violence and was smoking weed to cope. Tupac was saying what a lot of us were and still are going through.
