Is music a part of your grow operation and/or your medicating process? And if so, what artist are you listening to now?

Music has been extremely important in all realms of my life, this importance increased significantly once I relocated to Colorado and began cultivating Cannabis. As far back as I can remember, music has served as a form of inspiration, motivation, and meditation for me. The combination of medicating with Cannabis, cultivating Cannabis, and listening to music, has allowed me to become more attuned with nature, tapping into sectors of life that wouldn’t have been attainable without the trio. Listening to music while medicating and spending quality time with my girls (plants), isn’t only vital for my sanity but it's necessary for theirs as well. One of my daily routines consists of medicating and meditating with my girls which has converted into a therapy and a beneficial aid in the cultivation process. Currently, we listen to a lot of Satellite Music Entertainment's lead artist and CEO LeeBoi as well as Sampha, Her, K Cooly and 6lack.

What is your earliest memory of “weed”? (song reference, movie reference, friends, family, etc?)

As a result of growing up in the “Projects” of Sanford, FL, I was exposed to situations, objects, and people that the average adolescent wouldn’t normally be exposed to. At the age of 5, I had already fled a drive by shooting, seen addicts buy Crack Cocaine, and witnessed family members crumble Cannabis into Swisher after Swisher. I was ignorant to what this “green” substance was at the age of 5 but the religious use and distinctive smell of it resonated with me before its physical characteristics did. As an adolescent, if that unique smell ever crossed my path, no matter the environment, I knew it was Cannabis.

"I'm saying 4th down because making a career within the Cannabis industry was my last resort after giving up football and 24 because there are only 24 hours to accomplish everything one wants to in the day."
