WHIRLING DERVISHES’ SEMA CERAMONY
Mevlevi Sema Ceremony is a Sufi religious ceremony symbolizing different stages of the
mystical journey of man’s spiritual ascent to Allah. In the amazing mystical atmosphere of
Hodjapasha, the ceremony is performed with a particular musical repertoire and whirling
dances. The ceremony takes approximately one hour.
