NCDS AT OPPI’S HEALTH ACCESS
SUMMIT
The
Organisation of
Pharmaceutical
Producers of
India (OPPI)
hosted its Sixth
Healthcare
Access Summit on 9th June,
supported by the Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, and the
Department of Pharmaceuticals,
Ministry of Chemicals and
Fertilisers. Taking ahead the theme
of the previous summit- ACT
(Awareness, Capacity Building and
Treatment) on NCDs, this year
the Summit focused on bringing
‘Policies into Best Practices in Non-
Communicable Diseases (NCDs)’.
The Summit brought together
government representatives, policy-
makers, leaders from the healthcare
and pharmaceutical industries,
global healthcare experts and other
distinguished professionals to
converse on the need to ACT now
to contain the growing burden of
NCDs in India.

MEDANTA OPENS ITS FIRST OPD
FACILITY IN KOLKATA
With an
aim to bring
world class
healthcare
facility
at your
doorstep,
Medanta-
The Medicity, Gurgaon has
launched its first Neuro OPD
facility in Kolkata. The facility
will offer consultation for brain
tumours, neurovascular disorders,
brain strokes, parkinson’s disease
and spine tumours amongst other
neurosurgical disorders. Located at
S P Mukherjee Road, The Medanta
OPD centre was inaugurated in the
presence of eminent Neurosurgeon,
Dr Anirban Deep Banerjee and Dr
Rishabh Kedia.
