This new movement initiated by local hip hop artist,
Rorrey ‘Gallest’ Fenty, intends to inject hip hop culture into
Barbados, authentically, through the party scene.
“Trill” which means to be true and real, is representative
of the audience which Trill Saturdays is targeted to. “I
represent Trill,” Gallest told BimROCK, “We ain’t dealing with
all the fake people and fake ballin’, we just keeping true and
real to ourselves and coming out and partying and having
a good time.”
Trill Saturdays is a weekly party housed at Vibes Night
Club & Lounge. They have transformed the Old Club
Extreme VIP into a cosmopolitan, hip hop factory, where
the freshest beats and fashions collide. Trill also features the
hottest DJs on the island and plans to feature international
DJs as well.
Though Trill Saturdays only caters to a definite group,
the arrival of something this fresh and authentic has been
anticipated for years.
