Cuando se trata del mundo artístico,
existen pocos mercados que se comparen
al de Nueva York, donde subastas, exposi-
ciones y ferias dedicadas al arte son parte
del ambiente cotidiano. Por tercera vez
consecutiva, la feria tefaf se presentará
en el corazón de esta maravillosa ciudad,
situándose en el histórico Park Avenue
Armory, la ubicación perfecta para que la
élite de los comerciantes de arte, curado-
res y coleccionistas se reuna.
Establecida en 1988, la organización
mundial del arte, antigüedades y diseño
conocida como tefaf ha establecido, a lo
largo de los años, tres grandes ferias anua-
les: tefaf Maastricht, que abarca más
de 7,000 años de historia del arte, tefaf
New York Spring, centrado el mundo
moderno y contemporáneo, y tefaf New
York Fall, que abarca el arte fino y decora-
tivo desde la antigüedad hasta 1920.
Cada año, en las tres ferias se organizan
eventos caracterizados por la calidad y ex-
celencia, en los cuales se descubren nue-
vos tesoros y rarezas jamás imaginados.
Siendo el tercer evento en Nueva York,
parece que tefaf Spring ha llegado para
quedarse, un traslado de Holanda a Esta-
dos Unidos que nos mantiene atentos a
