The Baby es la cereza del pastel en una
serie de diseños de edición limitada de
la marca Goldfinch, mediante los cuales
pretende materializar la conexión que
existe entre el hombre y las formas de la
naturaleza y el universo.
Con más de 40 años de experiencia y
reconocidos mundialmente por sus subli-
mes creaciones artesanales en pianos de
cola, la firma británica Goldfinch trabajó
en colaboración con el distinguido estu-
dio Based Upon y sus expertos en arte es-
cultórico, creando un piano que reescribe
las expectativas de calidad y apariencia
para los músicos del futuro.
La acústica celestial que presenta The
Baby lo proyectan como uno de los me-
jores pianos del mundo, sus elegantes
terminados en metal moldeados a mano,
coronados con resinas táctiles en el tecla-
do y discretos pedales, superan las expec- tativas sensoriales del pianista más exi-
gente. Cada uno de los modelos que salen
del taller de fabricación en Cambridge,
conlleva una serie de adecuaciones que lo

Goldfinch. These designs aim to materialize the link
between humankind and nature and the universe.
Their worldwide reputation and over 40 years of
experience in the construction of artisanal grand pi-
anos precedes them. For this project, the British firm
Goldfinch worked alongside with renowned Based Upon studio – and their master sculptors – to build a
piano that completely resets the quality and appear-
ance expectations for future musicians. The Baby´s
heavenly acoustics make it one of the world´s best
pianos. Its elegantly hand-shaped finishes, discreet
pedals and keyboard treated with tactile resins can
top the sensory expectations of even the prickliest
pianists. Each model that leaves their Cambridge
workshop with a series of adjustments that make it

reflect off its metallic shapes is the result of a labo-
rious hand-molding sculptural process that add ex-
