oferta para ofrecer a nuestro grupo de invitados
o disfrutar de un buen cóctel en la tranquilidad del
salón se amplía hasta 24 tipos diferentes de bebidas
que incluyen cerveza, sidra y más de una docena de
bebidas mezcladas. Similar a la conocida máquina
de café espresso Keurig K Café, Drinkworks Home
Bar no difiere tampoco en su funcionamiento: toma
porciones de cápsulas individuales que contienen los
ingredientes y las convierte en cócteles. Cada una de
las cápsulas tiene un código de barras único que la
máquina escaneará para determinar la temperatura
y la carbonatación adecuadas. El tiempo que toma
hacer una bebida varía; una mula de Moscú, por
ejemplo, toma unos 50 segundos, mientras que para
preparar una margarita Drinkworks tarde 25 segun-
dos. Todo está bajo control pues en cada momento
una aplicación de iOS complementaria informa a
través de Bluetooth a los usuarios de lo que está ha-
ciendo la máquina; de igual forma se puede a través
de la misma, habilitar la solicitud de pedidos de las
cápsulas cuando se terminen y del tanque de CO 2
necesario para que Drinkworks funcione. Atiende
automáticamente la resolución de cualquier proble-
ma e incluso a través de una pantalla táctil, los usua-
rios puedan dar la orden de preparar las bebidas sin
tocar la máquina. Un buen invento para aquellos
que den prioridad a la rapidez y no extrañen el ágil y
carismático movimiento de la coctelera. Tecnología

Preparing a Cosmopolitan, a Lime Vodka or a Gin Ton-

works in a similar way too: it takes the ingredients from
individual capsules and turn them into cocktails. Each
capsule has a unique barcode the machine scans to de-
termine the proper temperature and carbonation. The
time it takes to prepare each drink varies, for example,
a Moscow Mule takes 50 seconds while a Drinkworks
