Hasta ahora, las primeras pruebas del prototipo se han lle-
vado a cabo en San Francisco, y los avances de los resultados
han desencadenado en especulaciones optimistas, tales como la
esperanza de que el Hyperloop esté funcionando en 5 años en
los Emiratos Árabes o en China. Sin embargo, ha sido España
el lugar elegido para desarrollar la etapa final de pruebas y vali-
dación del Hyperloop, en gran parte debido a la experiencia en
ingeniería de infraestructura del país, así como en sistemas de
transporte ferroviario de alta velocidad.
El tiro de salida ya se ha dado. La carrera por ver quién diseña-
rá ahora el mejor sistema de este tipo de transporte en el menor
tiempo posible ha comenzado, así como lo hizo con los trenes,
los coches y los aviones, hoy hablamos del viaje al vacío. Hyer-
loop cambiará para siempre el concepto de viajar para aquellos
que tengan el privilegio de usarlo. Realmente, un proyecto de
tal magnitud no dará un paso hacia el futuro, sino que viajará a
kilómetros de distancia, a una velocidad jamás imaginada.
