Throughout this process, I decided to concentrate on how technology helps bridge the gap with differentiation instruction in the classroom. I completed an action research study, as I was solely completing the research to better my personal teaching methods. In order to conduct this research, I utilized two different Third Grade classes within my school district: my personal classroom and one other Third Grade class. Throughout the study, my focus was the area of mathematics and how the implementation of technology helped increase the variables of differentiation within the classroom.

This is where the implementation of my final project came into play. To tie in my research study, I decided to take a big chunk of our math curricula and turn the traditional lecture lessons into an online format. These videos were created using the online software screencast-o-matic. This software was very user friendly and enabled me to not only share the information that was presented on my computer, but also allowed for my voice to be incorporated at the same time. Once the videos were created, I then was able to upload them to a classroom website.
