But just because many of our kids had a bad start in life does not mean it has to end that way . Students who graduate from high school in our care all have the option of continuing their education with the loving support of their Boys and Girls Country family . Each of them has their own story , but the common thread is that if it were not for Boys and Girls Country , they would not be able to even dream of a college education . In order to meet the financial needs of these students , we depend on scholarship funds that have been given to our Endowment . Currently , we have 16 named scholarship funds in the Endowment .
