Library Update
Book Magic Abounds
Last summer we told you about our wonderful volunteer Librarian Aileen
Kirkham, who also serves as a tutor. Now, we want to give you an update on our
library, a resource that is essential to our kids’ education.
Sweet sounds resound from the refrains of the kids who have come to rely on the
Education Lab’s library: “Did you get the book I wanted? Did you order the next
book in the series? Do you have the book I need for my Pre-AP classes in history
and English? This library is better than the one at school! I love this book! Do you
have any more books like this?”
All of this is possible thanks to generous donors like you. The new fiscal library
year starts now. Funds received from the American Contract Bridge League and
the Read On Ministry have been spent to fulfill 2014 and early 2015 requests and
to purchase card catalog supplies.
We are asking you to please donate books, cash, or gift cards/certificates to fulfill
the following needs:

This October at the 2015 Heritage Award Dinner, Jeff Foxworthy will entertain
our guests and take a moment to visit with our kids before his performance. It
would be awesome if each child had one of Mr. Foxworthy’s books for him to sign
during his visit. You can donate dollars or books. The book list below has been
compiled by Ms. Aileen as appropriate for kids to own and have signed by Mr.
Foxworthy.
