Walk of Hope
Tours
Curious about life on our campus
and in our cottages? Would you
like to see first-hand the warm,
family-oriented home your support
makes possible?
Come join us for a tour of our campus and
cottages. It’s an hour of wonderful stories,
great information and an inside look at where
our children live. This is not a fundraising
event. Bring only an open heart and a friend.
Below are the dates for 2015. You can find the
tour dates on our website at
www.boysandgirlscountry.org.
I’m always amazed with the selfless acts of those involved with Boys and
Girls Country. Since our founding by the Robinsons 44 years ago, we have an
amazing history of benevolence guiding our mission. Our kids have learned
from the staff, who have been inspired by our supporters, who in turn have
followed in the footsteps of our Board. Our kids constantly express how they
want to “give back.” They have personally experienced the powerful gifts of
those who have nobly invested and sacrificed for them, just as Christ lived.
The first semester of the 2014-2015 school year
is behind us, and our kids earned an outstanding

about his sibling group. Each of them is college
bound, in college or a college graduate. They
were joking together about the adage, “Go big, or go home!” They felt they
never had that choice with no home to go to. For them, the only option was
to “Go big.”
We are so excited about what lies ahead for our nine graduating high school
seniors. Two of them are sons of Teaching Parents. These young men grew up
right beside our Boys and Girls Country children. When matched in a group
with our kids, you cannot tell them apart. Is there any better compliment
regarding the care our kids receive? What a blessing it is to see. As I often
say, children amplify the joy of life.
Our Teaching Parents and staff very humbly try to keep up with all the generosity of those who support us. Every donor makes a difference, from those on
fixed incomes who invest $25 a month, to our Directors with “full-time plus”
jobs who give their time, treasure and talent. Your tireless commitment and
selfless efforts inspire all of us, every day, to do our very best. We include you
in our grateful prayers. Thank you.

credit.” President Harry S. Truman
