critical monetary support or service
projects, you bless our Boys and Girls
Country family! This summer we received an outpouring of generosity
from our community. Below are some
highlights of your generosity.
Convergint Technologies held their
annual Social Responsibility Day at Boys
and Girls Country in June. In addition to
Bayou City Fellowship
mulching, gardening, general cleaning
and a lot of power washing, over 160 employees built a wireless sound system,
replaced the gutter system on our administration building, and repaired and
painted the Roberts Road fence. A big THANK YOU goes out to our friends at
Convergint Technologies.
Our college freshmen are extremely grateful for two local scholarship donors,
University Area Rotary Club and Champion Forest Women’s Club. We can’t
thank you enough for supporting and encouraging our kids as they move on to
college!
Swift Energy employees held their second annual field day for our kids in June.
Kids enjoyed relay races, crafts, dodgeball,
volleyball and a yummy hamburger and hot
dog lunch. Swift Energy makes our summers
fun!
