Beyond the Bell Guidelines
GENERAL INFORMATION . . .
DISCLOSURE STATEMENT . . .
Bastrop Independent School District conducts Beyond
the Bell Classes for the benefit and enjoyment of community patrons. Classes are offered at a non-credit
level. Financial support to operate the Beyond the Bell
program comes strictly from the registration fees and
when possible, community grants from the Bastrop
area. Classes will begin as scheduled. Once a class
has begun and is in progress, expenses for the teacher
and materials have been set, therefore please read the
refund policy carefully.
This brochure and all class offerings included inside
are only for the purpose of information, instruction, enlightenment and enjoyment for the public. Such classes
are not to be construed as endorsement or investment
recommendations from the individual instructors, his/
her company or by Bastrop ISD.
REFUND POLICY . . .
The Beyond the Bell program is funded through grants
and registration fees, therefore the following refund
procedures must be followed:
• For classes cancelled for lack of enrollment, 100%
of the registration fee will be refunded.
• Withdrawal 7 or more days prior to the class start
date will result in a 75% refund. After that date, no
refunds will be issued.
CANCELLED CLASSES . . .
Classes that are cancelled due to conflict with regular school activities will be rescheduled. If BISD cancels regular school classes because of bad weather
or other reasons, Beyond the Bell classes will also be
cancelled.
