& Pie Fest

campuses
On Wednesday, November 21 the
Bethlehem Twin Cities community
gathers to give thanks to God in
worship and community. Worship
begins at 7:00 pm, followed by pie and
fellowship.
All Saints Sunday
a day of remembrance and gratitude
November 4 (Both campuses)
Saints are all around us—people whose generous spirit reflect God’s call to live
a life of love in serving others. On Sunday, November 4 you’re invited to light a
candle at church to honor and give thanks for the blessing of saints in your life.
In worship, we’ll name the saints who’ve gone before us in faith this past year.

The season of Advent holds the promise of Christmas.
It’s a season of waiting that calls us to stillness as we
prepare for the story of joy that is born.

Bring a pie to share and one to give
to the Marie Sandvik Center, which
serves over 500 people from the
community each Thanksgiving. Bring
homemade or store bought pies before
worship, or anytime, on Nov. 21. High
school youth join college students in
the Viking room for pie and reunion
after worship.
There will also be the Open House for
our new Christopher Nelson Choir
Room. Come and see the new space,
enjoy some special music and honor

Join us throughout the morning on
November 25 for a reception in the
Gallery as we dedicate a painting
commissioned in Pastor Chris Nelson's
memory by his family. We'll also
formally name the newly-renovated
choir room the "Christopher Nelson
Choir Room." We look forward to
Chris's family--wife Deb, son James,
and daughter Alison and their families-
-to join us.

Sometimes Christmas hurts. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing
life after divorce or separation, or some other dis-ease increases feelings of
loneliness, sorrow, alienation or sadness. This contemplative service offers a
place where we name the reality of these feelings and claim the healing and hope
that is offered in the birth of the Christ child.
