last issue of the “Beta Know It”
was distributed in May of 2013.
This is our Winter issue and it
contains tons of good information
and updates on our chapter. The
holidays are coming to an end just
like the year 2013. We wish you all
a fruitful and pleasant New Year.

The President’s corner
Greetings Sorors,
2013 was an exciting year for our organization and chapter! We had
the pleasure of hosting our first Beta Ball July 2013. Thank you to
everyone on the Beta Ball Committee that made it possible. We also
had the pleasure of creating our very first Alpha Alpha Chapter Virtual
Winter Informational with 7 interests participating. We had a new
addition to our chapter with Soror Castle Kelley coming onboard from
Chicago; Soror Laura Reid came back to Atlanta from Abu Dhabi,
Soror Courtney Lauture came back home from Germany and Soror
Annette Phelps is checking back in full time. During the holidays The
Alpha Alpha Chapter participated in the Alpha Alpha Operation give
back to help a person or family that was in need over the holidays.
As we excel forward into 2014, my hopes and dreams are to keep the
momentum and fire with The Alpha Alpha Chapter burning with great
height!
I look forward to each member showcasing their talents and
implementing them into our chapter. Every person here is strong
intelligent and leaders. I expect to feed off your ideas and opinions so
we can collectively bring new interests in our areas.
Ladies, we as The Alpha Alpha Chapter have the ability to set the bar!
Let us show them how it’s done for 2014.
