The fair values of these financial assets have been based on the closing quoted bid prices at the end of the reporting period, excluding transaction costs. In valuing unlisted investments, included in Level 2 of the hierarchy, valuation techniques such as those using comparisons to similar investments for which market observable prices are available have been adopted to determine the fair values of these investments. 33
