Vision and Values
Courage
We want our students to feel safe and empowered. We want them to
grow, learn, and become confident to take risks, to “have a go”, and not
give up.
Integrity
We want our students to learn emotional intelligence skills such as
reflection and critical thinking so that they are true to themselves and
are driven by their values.
Respect
We want our students to reflect and think critically so that they
understand and are true to their own values.
Accountability
We want our students to:
» Know they have to take responsibility for their actions so that they can
make informed decisions,
» Understand the impact of their behaviour and actions in the context
of their environment so that they are aware of consequences,
» Learn through a two-way process between themselves and their
community so that they are empowered.
Working Together
We want our students to:
» Know how valuable they are,
» Understand how to operate successfully in the community,
» Learn the necessary skills to be successful and be the best they can,
so that they can be valued and respected members of the
community.
