REPORT
Each year, as we reflect on past
achievements, it is harder to do
justice to the breadth, depth and
impact of our work.
As the largest independent child
and family services organisation,
RXUFRPPLWWHGDQGFDSDEOHVWD̫
and volunteer foster and kinship
carers, tackle some of society’s most
‘wicked’ problems – child abuse,
family violence, substance abuse
and intergenerational disadvantage.
Every day they demonstrate what
Berry Street stands for – by their
courage, in the way they build
relationships, connect, advocate and
earn trust, and in their openness,
always questioning how we can do
things better.
While providing services is the
core of what we do – and what
governments and our supporters

That’s why we established the Berry
Street Childhood Institute, why we
take a leadership role in advocacy
and why we invest in innovation.
