Board Changes :

Dr Michelle Evans moved interstate and we will miss her leadership , especially around Indigenous issues
^^
Lorenzo Bresciani ( Managing Director DDB Melbourne ) and Penny Armytage ( Partner , KPMG ) joined the Board
The Board met 10 times , including the annual retreat with the Executive Management Team . This retreat focussed on what we need to do to continue to be successful in this turbulent environment . Fran Thorn ( Partner , Deloittes ), Andrew Tongue ( Secretary , Department of Premier and Cabinet ) and Rosemary Addis ( Impact Strategist ) generously shared their insights with us .
In line with its Government Policy , the Board undertook a Governance Effectiveness Review , with an externally facilitated discussion .
We commissioned a review of our fundraising and marketing areas and have set ourselves some ambitious goals about increasing community engagement and independent income . We also reviewed our Rules in line with the new Associations Incorporation Reform Act and Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission requirements .
