Our Take Two Program providing intensive therapy While safety, stability and support are essential elements in helping a child recover from profound abuse, we know that they are not enough for most children. This is why Take Two, our intensive therapeutic service, is so essential. Our 58 very skilled and committed clinicians work with the babies, children and young people that Child Protection decide are in most need of our expert intervention. Our clinicians work directly with the child, but also with the people who are caring for him or her. Sometimes this will be a parent, but more often it will be a relative, foster carer or team of residential care staff. Over the year, we provided our intensive therapeutic services to 517 children, of whom 85 were Aboriginal.
