Accordionist Geir Draugsvoll last visited
the Bergen International Festival in 2018 in
connection with his performance of Sofia
Gubaidulina’s Fachwerk, which she wrote for
him. This year he is joined by Danish pianist
Mette Rasmussen in two recitals: one in the
mountain cavern at Solstrand and the other in
Knarvik Church, performing Nordic contempo-
rary and folk music alongside the duo’s trade-
mark – works by the father of Tango Nuevo, the
Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla.
