Excessive Student Absence And Promotion/Retention
Regular school attendance is essential for student success. If a student is absent more than
18 days between the first day of school in September and the last day of school in June, the
building principal has the authority to retain or to require that specified academic
responsibilities are completed before promotion to the next grade will be granted.
Extenuating circumstances, as determined by the building principal, may result in
conditional promotion.
Honor Roll Qualifications
PRINCIPAL’S HONOR ROLL: All “A’s” in every core subject with one “B” allowed
in encore.
HONOR ROLL: Two “A’s” in core subjects and all other grades must be “Bs.”
OUTSTANDING ATTENDANCE:
