Globally, language learning has
historically been a difficult task to
obtain a high success rate for
educators with their students. The
native tongue is not always available
to the students; therefore some
elements can be lost in both
transition and translation.
Education in general is becoming
more of a challenge today; children
and teenagers are under more
pressure than ever before with
various social media platforms, peer
pressure from family, friends and at
school, and also a growing and
accepted complete lack of privacy,
being the issues at the highest
levels of concern.

Although we cannot solve all of
today’s growing problems in
Language learning and our kids
emotional and mental health, we
can however, offer a solution in
greatly improving both these
elements with an Aventuro
Exchange! Immersion is the most
effective method of learning a
language and becoming enriched in
a country’s culture. Living in the
local climate, experiencing the new
temperature, scents, tastes, daily
routines and tongue will create
memories that will last a lifetime.
Sharing the home and hearts of a
family, becoming a child, a sibling, a
cousin, a new neighbour and a pupil
in a new community, will plant roots
deep within, that will ensure they
return again and again though their
your lifetimes!

stress and in maintaining a healthy
mental health plan. Children and
teens that choose an Aventuro
Exchange are doing just that, they
are stepping up and stepping out!
They are choosing to travel to
another country, live with a new
family, make new friends and stand
alone and tall within themselves.
The exchange gives the children an
opportunity to grow in
independence, self confidence and
explore who they are themselves. It
takes away the existing structures,
so they can relax and experience a
new and different family, school and
life dynamic.
As the exchanges are real reciprocal
exchanges, both families are
completely invested in the
happiness and wellbeing of both
children at all times, ensuring the
best possible successful outcome
for everyone.
Aventuro Ireland works with each
child and family on an individual
basis, they work extensively to find
you the best possible match to
ensure a successful exchange
experience, they support both of the
children and families throughout the
entire exchange process, and
operate a fully supportive 24/7 open
door policy!
Exchanges are from 1 month to 6
month duration, they facilitate both
school and summer exchanges as
required. Participants are aged from
10 to 18 years of age and the
countries Ireland exchanges with are
France, Spain, Germany, Italy, China,
Canada and the USA.

National Family Information Meeting
on Saturday 20th of October in The
Athlone Springs Hotel, Athlone. This
is a great opportunity to hear from
the present and past adventurers,
meet all the children and teens and
their parents and the entire
International Aventuro team.
