Tim and Danielle of course, tried discouraging her and talking Alexis into running for Miss California the following year. Alexis wouldn’t have it and competed in the Miss California Pageant which is held in December 2015 in Long Beach, California. Here she made a lasting impression on Professional Make up artist Peggy Mc Intaggart Seagren also Marketing Director of Bella Vie magazine.

Always keeping her parents on their toes, Alexis decided she wanted to become a licensed skydiver and had just completed her 15th solo jump. Alexis lived life to the fullest and everyone watched with complete admiration.

Being so loved and saddened by Alexis’s sudden passing, vigils took place in Maui, Las Vegas, San Diego and Del Oro High School in Loomis, California. Paul and Marj of Maui and other locals, are caring for her memorial in Maui. The Maui memorial has had several visitors from locals, family and friends. It keeps getting larger, more decorated and more beautiful.

Alexis’s Memorial was held on September 17, 2017 at The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn, California. A place where Alexis has golfed many times with friends & family. She was honored with three skydivers landing on the 18th hole, her West Coast Tae Kwon Do instructors performed an emotional and heartfelt tribute and presented Tim and Danielle with a name engraved Black Belt. The Civil Air Patrol Color Guard (where Lex was a member) and a three plane “Missing Man” formation organized by Mike at Sunshine Aviation in Auburn, California flew overhead as the Memorial event came to a close.

Tim and Danielle wanted something special to honor their amazing daughter and since they were not going to have the honor of having a wedding or a baby shower, they wanted a sit down dinner and a Celebration of Life worthy of their daughter Alexis. A video of Alexis singing “Like I’m Going to Lose you” The Jasmine Thompson version and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” was played. Videos of Alexis and friends, feeding hundreds of homeless people in San Diego showing her philanthropy, good will and love for people. Alexis’s friends and family continue feeding the homeless in her honor to this day

Alexis loved to travel, so at her Celebration, purple rocks were displayed at every table setting. People paying respect, decorated them with Alexis Patrice Jenkins and have taken them all over the world. Live Like Lex emerald green bracelets are worn by many in remembrance.

There is currently no helmet law in Maui and we will be working on changing the law with Wave Artist Jack Nordby of Maui. Two domains have been secured Lexilaw808.com and Lexislaw808.com.
