TO: ALL 2018 NABF FRANCHISE MEMBERS
As the 2018 season is under way and everyone has received their packet of information from the NABF office, please take special note of the NABF Scholarship Fund page.
A little history on the NABF Scholarship Fund: Since its inception in 1985 and now through 2017, the NABF has given out 252 scholarships to members of 86 different franchises. These winners have gone on to different levels of higher education. As a national organization, we have a program that helps our winners with the cost of a college education.
This has been made possible by our franchise members and individuals who have supported the NABF Scholarship Fund with their donations. With your contribution, the NABF can continue to award scholarships. It is also the responsibility of all league presidents and managers to inform any eligible applicant of the availability of the NABF Scholarship Fund. If you have any questions or need any assistance, you can contact me or the NABF office. Any individual or franchise member can donate to the NABF Scholarship Fund. The NABF is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, which makes your donation tax deductible. Everyone who contributes will be recognized at the NABF Annual Meeting.
As chairman of the NABF Scholarship/Awards Committee, I would like to thank everyone for their support of the Ronald E. & Irene McMinn and Red Carrington NABF Scholarship Awards. Together, let’s support this fund, so that our NABF participants can go to college and further their education.
