Behind the Seams #1 -2018 | Page 37

A THANK YOU TO OUR READERS

With the 2018 season drawing close, we reflect on the last several months and say a huge thank you to our readers and supporters for their tremendous encouragement.

Very few digital magazines actively talk about just how important their readers and supporters are to them. It might be mentioned in an issue’s opening editorial every once in a while but that’s usually the extent of it. However, with a new season approaching and reflection mode setting in, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank every single person who has supported NABF over the years.

Whether by becoming one of our adored readers, picking up a copy off of the NABF website, ordering a copy online, submitting to us, following us on Twitter or Facebook , downloading our upcoming new app, writing about us or talking about the magazine via good old fashioned word of mouth. Without this network, Behind the Seams would quickly cease to exist.

In 2018, we are going to see Behind the Seams rise to a new height. We overhauled our digital magazine after months of talking about it, making it mobile/tablet friendly and allowing us to bring some of the most respected college coaches, retired players, and great articles into the digital sphere.

Over the coming months we hope to build on it by publishing more writing from other great coaches and players. Most importantly, we had the pleasure of publishing some of our favorite articles yet from some very important baseball talent.

As the 2018 season rolls into view, there are exciting plans afoot Unless you have a strong aversion to dealing with reality you’ve no doubt become aware of the fact the human race has gone mobile. Smartphones were adopted in a relatively short amount of time and have great influence on consumers. Additionally, this increased mobile usage has led to an increase in the consumption of digital content.

What does this mean to marketers considering advertising in a digital magazine? Digital magazines offer tremendous benefits unmatched by other media channels.

Here’s to a wonderful new season and once more, a massive thank you to our readers and supporters.
