Born in Los Angeles CA, Ruby Modine is a fast rising actress and singer/songwriter: A young woman who has been acting, singing, painting, playing instruments, writing songs/stories…Well, you get it! She's been an all-around artist since elementary school.

In the past year, Ruby has starred in an HBO pilot produced by James Franco, A Visit from the Goonsquad, was featured in CAT. 8 (STARZ) directed by Kevin Fair along with a public service film announcement regarding an individual’s right to exercise their right to demonstrate and gun control, Somebody.

Ruby will next be seen in Memoria, directed by Nina Ljeti

and produced by James Franco,Violence and Women, directed by Chad Ostrom, Julia, directed by Leon Vitale and as a voice in Christopher Stoudts' stop motion animated film, The Bagman.

As a singer, Ruby has covered many songs including The Rolling Stones classic, As Tears Go By and Plastic Jesus a song popularized by Paul Newman. She now has released some of her original songs which include Red Sunset and Trigger Finger with much more to come. Her most recent releases include Radio and Tell Me A Story which were produced by Chris Udell. She is now focusing her energy on putting her rock band together, Your Wyldest Dream and is in pre-production for shooting the music video for her song Trigger Finger.

In addition to all of this, Ruby's photography and paintings have been successfully exhibited and auctioned for charity. She is a peace activist and stands strongly for what she believes. When she is not focusing on her career in acting/singing, her life revolves around the hard-core music scene of NYC, she works extremely hard to support the local hard-core bands while also working WITH and FOR them! She is a force to be reckoned with, needless to say!
