Behind the Front Door Volume 3, October, 2013. | Page 22

In regards to my acting, I will be working on Memoria this October (directed by Nina Ljeti and produced by James Franco) along with a feature film Violence and Women (directed by Chad Ostrom) in March, 2014. I will also be shooting a short film called Julia and be a voice in Christopher Stoudt's animated film The Bagman. So, I’m really excited for how busy my life is getting, hard work pays off!

Is there anyone in particular you'd like to thank or mention as an influence or inspiration in your career so far?

RM: The people I would like to thank thus far are my family, the bands I’ve worked with or around in New York City, Airismine, the artists who inspire me every day to do what I love and the close friends who are still standing by me at this juncture in my life. There have been so many ups and downs up to this point and I’ve lost a lot of people in the process which makes me sad. Those who are still by my side show me that the right people are there for me, as I am for them, and those who are not maybe weren't meant to be, no matter how badly I wanted them to be a part of this journey.

Anything else you'd like to mention, such as social activism or causes you might be involved with?

RM: I am very much involved with the local hard-core music scene. It started out in New York City and then somehow took off to other states. I love working with musicians and really love to help promote the incredible talents that are working hard to be heard. I work very hard to promote peace and equality and involve myself in anything that will help get the word out that we should all focus on love and the beauty in the world, there is so much that goes unnoticed because of the anger or hurt that we sometimes feel. I will be working with Michael Strider for his book The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and always love to learn new things. I wish I could say more about myself in 9 questions, not that I didn’t say a TON!

Peace, Love and wild chaos to all of you beautiful people, and remember! Sometimes the ringing in your ears is worth it!
