HIGHLIGHTS YESHIVA APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Yeshiva Darchei Torah is pleased to welcome Rabbi Eli Biegeleisen to its administration. Rabbi Biegeleisen, who serves as the Yeshiva’s director of community engagement, hails from Lakewood, New Jersey. A talmid of the Yeshiva of Philadelphia and the Mesivta of Long Beach, Rabbi Biegeleisen brings to his new position over a decade of experience in the nonprofit and corporate arenas. Rabbi Biegeleisen also serves as the Rav of the Lido Beach Shul, and is the author of Eis Laledes, a comprehensive sefer that covers the halachos and minhagim of pregnancy, childbirth and associated hospital care. Fourth Graders Shine at Colonial-Era Fair Replete with costumes, games, and detailed models of homes and schoolhouses, the fourth grade’s Colonial-era fair was a veritable theme park of 16th through 18th centuries’ America. The students spent weeks developing and building original and inventive exhibits that demonstrated their impressive knowledge of the modus vivendi of the protagonists of this formative chapter of United States history. 70,051 MISHNAYOS IN MEMORY OF RABBI HARBATER The Middle School talmidim celebrated a collective siyum on 70,051 Mishnayos which were learned l’iluy nishmas Rabbi Yehuda Harbater z”l, our late executive director.
