MOMBASA If you’re looking for a great place to catch your breath, Mombasa is Kenya’s beach-break town of choice. Pristine while sand, sparkling aqua seas, diving, snorkeling and historic tours are all on the menu, with visits to For Jesus and Old Town a must. SAFARI Of course, most people visit Kenya to go on safari. If you can spare the time we encourage you to book a trip with a reputable company (Wildebeest Eco Lodge run excellent and affordable safaris) and revel in all that Kenya has to offer. The Masai Mara is probably the best known safari destination in the world and there’s no doubting its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. However, Kenya has so much more to offer - Lake Nakuru is a gem with its alkaline lake teeming with flamingo; Amboseli has the spectacular Mt Kilimanjaro looming in the background; Tsavo is Kenya’s biggest national park and known for its historic man eating lions. Whichever you choose you won’t be disappointed. 21
