Junior Foreman , Carlo Harris was awarded the Regional Individual Achiever of the Year 2016 , Eastern Cape .
Carlo is an exceptional leader with a can-do attitude . Kelvin Jones Sub-Station was the first project he managed on his own and he has proven himself to be a true NMC ambassador living the brand e s s e n c e o f s e t t i n g t h e construction standard .
Leading by example he has instilled the NMC values of pride discipline and trust in his team . Carlo and his team on the Kelvin Jones Sub-Station project has excelled in all aspects of quality , p r o g r a m , t i m e a n d w a s t e management . His hard work and dedication had a direct impact on the overall projected profit being met and exceeded .
Not only does Carlo celebrate his individual achievement but also that of his team at Kelvin Jones as they were awarded Regional Team Achievers of the Year 2016 . Congratulations Carlo , well done and keep up the good work !

Senior Site Manager , Derek Krasser was awarded the Regional Individual Achiever of the Year 2016 , Western Cape .
Derek joined the company in 2006 , his dedication and diligence has afforded him numerous promotions and taken him from strength to strength in his career at NMC .
His nomination was based on his exceptional leadership skills and ability to drive and motivate his team at the V & A Waterway House to always deliver . Derek ' s e n t h u s i a s m a n d e n e rgy i s infectious and had his team going over and above to ensure the project stayed on programme .
2016 was a big year for Derek and his team at the V & A Waterway House project , in addition to the accolade of Achiever of the Year , the project was also awarded first place in the Western Cape MBA Regional Awards and second place in the MBA National Safety Competition . Congratulations on a job well done Derek , keep up the good work !
