August 2016 : Beating Drum Page 4 The NMC Construction Group encouraged employees to pay it forward during Women's Month 2016 by giving hope to those in need. The campaign ran for the month of August requesting employees to donate toiletries, which will be delivered to safe houses for abused women and children. Chanelle James and Zimkhitha Xawuka Walking the walk at Blisters for Bread A team from the NMC Construction Group head office joined over 13 000 walkers for the 48th Blisters for Bread walk in Cape Town. Hosted by the Peninsula School Feeding Association, funds raised at the walk will go towards serving nutritious meals to underprivileged school children.
