A. I have a double tumbler that I bought at Harbor Freight on sale. Works fine. Most of the time I use a nail file or put a cup burr on the end of my Dremel. I make earring wires two at once so they have the same shape. If I were to make a few for it to be worth tumbling, then I'd have to find the matching wires. Bobbie Palmer A. My issue is gauge of wire and hoping they are not too thick to go thru the ear hole. Judy Weldon Yeagley A. I tend to use 22 gauge for earring wires. Find thicker gauges don't fit in the ear easily. Sam Siegel A. I use 20 gauge, a burr cup and I simply hammer mine, it works great! Haven't had any issues! Elizabeth Nusbaum Seidel I use a Lortone 3A tumbler to work harden mostly, but it does help with burrs on ear wires. I think I use the same cheap emery board nail files from Target that Kristin mentioned--they make fast work on burrs, especially using the fine grit side. Meridy Migchelbring A. A. I just watched a video on YOU TUBE: How to use a burr cup and how to file wire ends for jewelry making. Loralee Kolton EarWires
