Sculpting With Clay Clay Shapers can be used for lots of things...such as smoothing marks away and to carve patterns into glaze or clay. I use mine mostly for sculpting, the small ones are especially good for working on a small scale! They come in several sizes and different strength tips. The black tips are the firmest, grey are medium strength and white are soft. These are my main “go to” tools...the horse on the next pages was done near enough entirely with the clay shapers! Mini Sculpting Tools are probably my favourite tools to use! They’re teeny! I added the pencil in the pic so you can see just how small they are! I use these and the clay shapers above most often! They’re especially good for sculpting faces on a small scale or for adding texture and carving small beads. Stiff Bristle Brushes are great for adding texture to beads and for animal fur on pendants etc. You can also use toothbrushes! creativebeadchat.com
