peek at what the editors are looking for...
Generally when we’re looking for an
image to use on the cover, we’re looking for either white backgrounds or
backgrounds with great props...something that showcases the finished
piece.
Cover images are always chosen by
the editorial team.
If you can’t get a good white background on your images, it’s not a
problem as we can edit for you.
Cover images also tend to go with
one of the themes we’re using inside the magazine, or with our color
scheme for that month.
Cover images are difficult to find as
we need a “portrait” shot, rather than
a ”landscape” shot as most images
tend to be. Because of this it’s useful
to have the white background option.
