always enjoyed wearing jewelry, especially earrings. I was going through a stressful period in the
mid 1980's and decided that a metalsmithing class
might be a fun diversion. I loved it! I learned to set
stones and pursued that for several years. I made
detours into basketry, floral arranging and silk painting along the way. I wandered into a bead shop in
about 1993 and have been hooked ever since.”
A new chapter in Linda’s journey this past year was
selling at Bead Fest. I asked her about what prompted her to stand on the seller’s side of the booths?
And she said “I've hung out at my team members’
booths and covered them for breaks ever since I
joined AJE. However this was the first year that I've
