OK LO W CLASS E UP N NE GRO ASR EATIV EUE CR YTIQ U WE BO E U B’S For the first two months of 2015, the B'sue Boutiques Creative Group members challenged themselves to review their inventory. This is always smart to do at the beginning of the year, as well as before large events and selling seasons, just to see where you are and what you might need to add to your offerings. We discovered it would be a great idea to take pieces that haven't been moving, take another look and re-evaluate. Maybe the design isn't quite righ or maybe it's the wrong thing for our customers. Maybe it's too over the top, too expensive, can be broken down in to several designs instead of one which would make us more money in the long run, and sell faster. Kate Mulligan of Mulligan Stew made a gorgeous necklace a year or so back for one of our winter challenges, but no one had purchased it. Honestly, it’s a showstopper just as it is. You need some showstoppers for a show booth or on Etsy to attract attention. At the same time, they won’t be a quick sale. They require *just* the right customer. Even if the price is right, people hesitate because they may be too timid to wear large pieces, or have too few wearing options with their wardrobes. So.....Miss Kate, a member of the B’sue Boutiques Design Team, broke it down and with Kate’s reworked design, the customer now has the option of going over the top with a full parure of three pieces.....OR going more casual and just wearing the earrings and bracelet.
