Egypt Research
Mrs Ingrid Tjia, Year 2 IPC Teacher
In International, Year 2 students adopted Egypt
as their host country for this unit. Thus, they
did a research to find out more about Egypt.
They used a couple of links provided for their
research in the Internet. Each student came
back with 3-5 facts about Egypt.
Year 2’s Outstanding Exit Point!
Isha Rajput, Year 5
Year 2 has done a great job in their Exit Point
on Greek Mythology. They learned about Greek
Mythology. In this Exit Point they showed their
Ancient Greek Plates, Pandora’s Jar and many
more things. The students in their field trip
made some of the things in the display, like the
Ancient Greek Plates.
The brilliant Year 2 students also learned
hieroglyphics, so they thought of making a
game out of it for their parents. As a part of the
game, the parents were given the hieroglyphics
sheet wherein the hieroglyphic symbols and the
English alphabets were printed. The parents
had fun filling out those sheets.
All the parents had a great time and they really
appreciated the hard work put in by the
teachers and the students to make it so
interesting.
