3. What do I like about what I do (and what don't I like very much?)
I love working with a company and people who have the same values! Having a passion for anything in life and a support system around you to achieve that is invaluable. Having been in the IT industry for 30 years from a small VAR to a large Corp, you don’t see this type of culture every day and when you do – it’s special! I hope everyone feels the same sense of community and support from their bChannels counterparts.
What I don’t like very much…..not enough hours in the day!!
4. What motivates me to go the "extra mile"?
Knowing that what I do affects everyone. And a very important lesson I learned from my Dad – “if you aren’t going to do a job well and give it your best – don’t do it. If you don’t know the answer or how to do the job, ask for help and be patient with yourself until your learn. You just have to try and going the extra mile will only help you succeed faster. Failure is not an option in our house.” I hear that voice from my Dad most every day and am so glad I had such a great mentor in my life.
5. What aspect of my character helps me succeed in my job?
I love people! I love seeing my employees grow and progress; there is nothing more satisfying as a leader to know you have hopefully mentored tomorrow’s leaders in any aspect of their lives.
