INTERIOR FIT OUT & REFURBISHMENT SPECIAL PEXHURST It’s an approach that dates back to its first client - The Bulldog Public House in Bullsmoor Lane, Waltham Cross – where, in 1977, Pexhurst carried out electrical works to the value of £11. From these humble beginnings, it has grown to a medi- um-sized SME working with an established blue chip client base that includes some of the world’s largest investment funds. Dealing mostly with clients in the South East of England and London, Pexhurst is experienced in carrying out project work across a range of sectors and a variety of refurbishment and fit-out disciplines. A mark of its success is a reputation for com- pleting work on time and within budget. That’s “imperative” says Nick as “many of our clients are under huge time sensitive pressure”. Pexhurst is also known for being 36 a cost effective contractor, adding value to the solutions it provides. Some of its longest BUILDING DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION MAGAZINE relationships include delivering in excess of 100 projects for SEGRO over more than 15 years, a near-decade long relationship with the University of Hertfordshire, and 20-year part- nerships with numerous pension funds and building surveying consultancies. “One of the reasons many of our cli- ents return to Pexhurst, is that we have the capability of handling projects that have the requirement to address com- plex solutions within the overall scope of works. Workspace owns and manages a ma- jor property portfolio providing full-service business centres and commercial prem- ises in locations throughout London. Its properties include offices, warehouses,
