This project presents a dramatic design driven transformation of a humble workers cottage into a modern inner city retreat. The designer has created a well planned, spacious & free flowing house on a very small lot.
The design exhibits a consistent theme of restrained materials and finishes cleverly linking the modern addition with the original house. In particular, the repeated and occasionally inverted fence motif is cleverly used throughout.
