Ashton Huntley wants to be a chemist when he grows up. “I love science, and I have a chemist set at home,” he said. “You can do experiments with it!” Ashton said his first year was “awesome sauce,” especially the Learning Centers, which let him and fellow kindergarteners work on literacy, math, and social skills in small groups. Ashton Huntley “I made some new friends, and I got to see old friends,” he said. “It was really a good time.” Flint Wolf wants to be a mechanic like his dad when he grows up. “He works on cars, and he’s really good at it,” he said. Flint said he had a lot of fun this year in kindergarten. “I liked playing with my friends,” he said. “And we learned lots of stuff, like the ‘B Rules’ - Be Responsible and Be Respectful.” Flint Wolf Jimena Aguila-Rivas wants to be a kindergarten teacher when she grows up. “I want to be just like my teachers!” she said. “I met new friends and played with them,” she said. “And I learned math, writing, and art. I also got the Good Citizen Award, because I was kind to my friends.” Jimena Aguila-Rivas 5
